COVID-19 service update:

Following guidance from Openreach, we’re having to introduce changes to the service we provide. We are continuing to provide new and existing customers where an engineer visit is not required on site, or the work we do can be completed outside of your premises.

If your installation needs work inside your premises (i.e. for a new line installation), we will be unable to arrange new appointments at least until mid-June.

On ordering a solution we will contact you within 24 hours to inform you if there is a problem with your installation due to COVID-19 working safe regulations.

What is FTTP?

Fibre to the Premises runs over a fibre optic cable from the telephone exchange, all the way to inside your property. The fibre from the exchange is normally terminated on the outside wall of a home, and a short fibre lead runs inside to the fibre modem, which then offers an Ethernet connection to a broadband router.

How Fast is FTTP?

FTTP products offer a range of speeds, from 40Mbps through to 330Mbps, with the potential to offer even higher speeds of up to 1Gbps (1000Mbps). One key advantage that FTTP has is that the connection speed is not affected by your premises distance from the cabinet.
