Broadband that will ignite your business

Ultrafast, ultra reliable and ultra secure business broadband to propel your business forward

Is this for?

Ultrafast G.fast Business Broadband

G.fast Business Broadband

G.fast is transforming the UK’s broadband landscape.  G.fast broadband provides the fastest possible speeds that your existing copper line can support – slashing your download times and enabling you to run more bandwidth-hungry applications.  While it is just beginning to be rolled out across the UK, where available, it’s possible for businesses to receive download speeds of more than 300Mbps using their existing copper phone lines, at a cost similar to current fibre broadband products.
It is affordable, easy to install and delivers download speeds of up to 330Mbps. Syscomm is one of only a few ISPs who are currently able to sell G.fast to businesses in the UK.

Why Get G.fast?

G.fast is a cost-effective way to increase your speed without having to make a potential costly investment in getting fibre to your business with FTTP or a leased line.

If your business is looking to dramatically improve both download and upload speeds while maintaining low overhead costs of business broadband, G.fast is an excellent option for you to explore.

Why Choose G.fast Broadband from Fibre.Net?

Lightning fast speeds, affordable prices – Our G.fast broadband packages start from £39 per month for up to 150Mbps download and 30Mb/s upload, or £46 for up to 350Mbps download and 50Mbps upload

Fully loaded package - All services come included with the line rental, 802.11ac Gigabit Wi-Fi router, unlimited data transfers, 24×7 core network monitoring, UK-based Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm customer care, fixed price contract terms.

What is G.fast?

In simple terms, GFast is the newest and fastest broadband that is currently available, basically it is an improved version of Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC).  This means that the end user can achieve speeds up to four times faster than traditional FTTC broadband.  Current maximum speeds are up to 80mb download, GFast increases this to up to a potential 300mb download.  Previously the only way to get faster broadband speeds was to get a Fibre to the Property (FTTP) connection but this isn’t available in all areas, so this is where GFast can help

GFast works in a very similar way to FTTC but with a special pod which is fitted to the side of the BT cabinet.  This special pod increases the speed through the copper cable which results in a more reliable broadband with ultrafast speeds.

How Fast is G.fast?
G.fast is classed as an Ultrafast broadband technology because it can deliver download speeds of over 100Mbps  - the marker for defining ultrafast broadband speeds. However, unlike FTTP broadband, speeds over G.fast are likely to fluctuate widely depending on length of the copper line and sources of noise & interference,  which full-fibre broadband products such as FTTP are immune.

If your copper line length to the G.fast cabinet is under 300 metres, you may reach download speeds of up to 300Mbps down and 50Mbps up, which is a considerable jump up from the next fastest copper-line broadband service of FTTC, where the maximum speed tops out at 76Mbps download and 19Mbps upload.

Can I Get G.fast?

If you are in an area that is FTTC enabled and within 300m of the cabinet then you might be able to get G.fast. If you’re unsure, just do an availability check by typing in your post code below.

At the moment G.fast is only available in some locations but the expectation is that over 10 million premises will be reached by the end of 2020.  G.fast already benefits over one million homes and it’s continued roll-out will allow millions of more properties to get ultrafast broadband speeds with minimal disruption.

G.fast broadband for business is an extremely cost-effective way to dramatically increase your broadband speeds.  Fibre.Net’s G.fast packages start from less than £40/month.
